Welcome!

Spring City UMC is a faith community that focuses on worship, faith in action, growth through study, and fellowship as community. We seek to fulfill the mission of the United Methodist Church, which is making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.

As a church, we believe that the Bible is relevant for today and try to apply it in every area of our lives. We especially strive to follow the command to love the Lord our God with all our hearts and with all our souls and with all our minds and with all our strength, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We seek to live out and share the good news of God’s love, grace, and mercy for each one of His children.

We gather together in worship, study, prayer, and service, We live together in laughter and support each other in troubles. We encourage everyone to get involved in the ministries of the church, giving and receiving God’s blessings and making a difference in our community and the world. Most of all, we walk alongside one another in love, and we would love for you to be a part of our family!

What to expect

Spring City UMC has a Contemporary Service at 8:45 AM in the Family Life Center and a Traditional Service at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary.

The Traditional Service music is mostly traditional hymns, with a special anthem each week by our Chancel Choir and various musicians and styles during the choir’s summer break. You will find people of every age and background and style of dress in our services, so come as you are and worship with us!  A nursery is available during both services for babies and toddlers up to 3 years of age.

Youth Ministry

Our youth are an active part of the life of our congregation. They enjoy learning how to lead, serve, and be disciples of Jesus Christ through worship, study, prayer, and tons of spiritual and fun activities!   Anyone in grades 6-12 is welcome! Please see our Youth Ministry page for more details.

Children's Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry is focused on showing children the love of God and teaching His Word in an age-appropriate, safe, and caring atmosphere. On Sunday mornings we have a nursery for parents to use as desired and Sunday School classes for all ages.  We have Mother’s Day Out throughout the year. Our Easter Festival, Vacation Bible School, and Fall Festival are exciting opportunities for all children in the community to experience the love of God. Young Adult Ministry

Ministry to young adults is an exciting opportunity to watch God’s amazing plan in action in the life of our church. We offer a Sunday School class designed specifically to address the questions and issues our young adults are facing, We have a Campus Ministry to reach out and show God’s love no matter where He has led them. Whether it’s in worship, service, fellowship, or study, our young adults are a vital part of our congregation!
